Tomato Ground Beef Dinner

Ingredients to make Tomato Ground Beef Dinner
2 cups coarsely chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
1 crushed garlic clove
1 diced green bell pepper
1 cup sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
8-oz broad noodles, cooked and drained
Directions to make Tomato Ground Beef Dinner
Combine the tomatoes, water, oregano, thyme, and pepper in a small bowl and set aside. Heat oil in a large heavy skillet.
Add ground beef to the skillet and stir constantly until crumbly and no longer pink. Remove meat from skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery to the skillet. Saute until the vegetables are tender. Cover the skillet and cook mixture about 7 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
. Add parsley to the skillet. Return the meat to the skillet and add the tomato mixture. Cook mixture for several minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve over the hot cooked noodles or rice.
Meatballs for the Crock Pot

Ingredients to make Meatballs for the Crock Pot
Meatball Ingredients:
1Kg / 2.2 lbs ground beef
1 onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic finely chopped
100g / 4 oz breadcrumbs
1 beaten free range egg
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Sauce Ingredients:
1 400g can chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
A handful of fresh basil, chopped
A splash of Tabasco
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions to make Meatballs for the Crock Pot
Throw all the ingredients into a bowl, get stuck in with your hand and give it a good mulch around. Now roll the mix into the meatballs and pop them into a frying pan under a medium heat just to brown the meatballs for about 5 minutes.
Place the meatballs in the crock pot, pour over the sauce and cook for six hours on “low†setting
Serve with hot fresh pasta.
